Whilst researching the NYIGF, we came across this lovely company The HomePort, who since 2006 have wholesaled their collection of home-wares all over the world. They started with a boutique store in 2001 in St.Louis, which has since closed, but have had online presence since 2004. So were late to the party, but we like their style and the pics are just lovely…
The HomePort Collection is lovely and fresh yet sophisticated with a nod towards vintage style and has eclectic worldly feel that incorporates styles of mystical Asia, classic and modern Europe and contemporary America.
Their business is ‘green’ focused and they strive to find ways to bring this focus into each product. They also repurpose a lot of wonderful finds into something more beautiful for the home. This year they released the Takara Elm Collection. Made of repurposed Chinese elm that is polished to a bright, natural wood finish and is designed with both Japanese and Scandinavian character.
