Each of the Architect-designed homes are all made with locally sourced and sustainable materials from the Hudson River Valley. The Hudson Woods homes are in Kerhonkson, which is only 100 miles from NYC .
Sustainable Homes made with Locally Sourced Materials
There will be 26 large, modern and energy efficient properties, all built on a beautiful and natural 131-acre site.
With an emphasis on responsible land use and nurturing and protecting the natural beauty of the region, each house is designed to compliment it’s natural surroundings and promises on-site agriculture and active forest management.
The future resident can pick and choose options like wood-burning stoves, outdoor cooking areas, a greenhouse, tree houses and more, they will be in charge of their own vision of a retreat into nature.
One of my favourite things about these homes is that the firm, Lang Architecture, collaborates and works with local craftsmen to build and shape these modern offerings.
Who wouldn’t want to live here?
Surely all future homes should be built like this?
